There will be cats on this blog. |
My name is Anna and I've been the sole blogger at the feminist librarian since 2007, when I began this blog on the eve of moving to Boston to begin graduate studies in history and library science. This is, and always has been, a personal space in which I share what interests me and what I want family and friends to know about my life.
I write about history, feminism (as it is and has been), queer life (now and in the past), sexuality (for fun and profit), books and reading, reading and books, librarianship, my wife, our cats, and our life here in the Boston metropolitan area.
I daylight as Reference Librarian at the Massachusetts Historical Society. Though I sometimes write here about my work and workplace, the views expressed in this space are my own, not those of my employer.
I can be contacted at feministlibrarian@gmail.com if you have questions, comments, concerns, or the offer of free books for review. As this is a personal blog, I typically do not accept cold-call "guest post" pitches from writers I do not know.
Thanks for stopping by,
Anna
