But when they heard this story they might have well known about the worse effects of drunken drive. These stories make them aware of many things that they not know in their life.

_______________
Hulia

Dui In CaliforniaUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03936113258512371270noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8743841912028246535.post-14200466938086573302008-07-10T00:23:00.000-03:002008-07-10T00:23:00.000-03:00Blog-stalking you....If I may add to the "list of ...Blog-stalking you....

If I may add to the "list of things wrong with a fake death," it would be that it will make it harder for teens to accept a real death. They will hold out the hope that it is fake - that it's this year's version of the drunk-driving death - not that someone actually died, too young, too soon, and tragically.

To state the obvious: people who have forgotten what it is like to be a teenager have no business teaching them.

Even if we are to assume that this is a lesson that needs to be taught, and needs to be taught in schools, there are better ways to do it. There are no shortage of recovering alcoholics who can discuss their experiences, of families of victims of drunk-driving accidents, of people who have been caught driving drunk - albeit accident-free - and had their lives forever changed. The reality of these experiences is what makes them compelling, not the emotions they evoke until the students are educated as to the falsity of it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
